Las Terrenas is a town on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, on the Samana Peninsula. It is known for its miles of undeveloped beaches, including Playa Las Ballenas, Bonita, Coson, and Las Terrenas. There are people from many cultures that call Las Terrenas home, and you?re likely to hear a variety of languages spoken, including Spanish, French, Italian, English, and Creole. Palm trees and brightly coloured fishing boats dot the coast, both along the malecon in town as well as along the long stretches of undeveloped beaches.
